Delete your TaraDarpan account
Applies to the TaraDarpan app and website.
How to delete your account
- Open TaraDarpan (app or website) and sign in.
- Go to Account (bottom navigation, or More → Account & Cloud Sync).
- Scroll down and tap "Delete account and cloud data".
- Confirm by tapping "Yes, delete".
Your account and cloud data are deleted immediately — there is no waiting period.
Can't sign in, or no longer have the app?
Email support@taradarpan.com from the email address on your account, with the subject "Delete my account". We will delete your account and confirm by email within 7 days.
What gets deleted immediately
- Your login (email and password)
- Your birth profile / kundli data stored in the cloud (if you used cloud sync)
- Your saved reading history — palm, tarot, match and horoscope
- Your Ask Guru conversation memory
What is retained, and for how long
- Anonymous reading feedback (👍/👎) is never linked to your account or identity, so there is nothing tied to you left to delete there.
- Standard hosting access/security logs (Vercel) are kept briefly for abuse prevention and auto-purged on our host's normal retention schedule (typically within 30 days).
- A kundli share link you generated earlier stays valid for whoever holds that link — the birth details are encoded in the link itself, not stored against your account, so deleting your account doesn't revoke links you already shared.
Data this doesn't touch
By default your chart and readings are stored only on your own device (browser storage) and never reach our servers unless you created an account. Deleting your account does not clear device storage — use More → Reset in the app for that, on each device separately.
