Privacy Policy

Your name (any name you choose), date, time and place of birth, and language preference. Optionally: an email and password if you create an account, questions you ask Guru, and images of your palm if you use palm reading.

By default your birth profile and saved readings are stored ON YOUR OWN DEVICE (browser storage) — not on our servers. If you create an account and turn on cloud sync, your profile and reading history are stored in our database (Supabase) protected so only your account can read them.

Palm photos are sent once, over an encrypted connection, to our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate your reading, and are not used by us to build any gallery or database of palm images. Hand detection and line tracing happen on your device.

Guru questions, tarot draws and dream texts, along with your computed chart, are sent to our AI provider to generate the reading. We do not sell your data. We do not use your birth details for advertising.

A kundli share link contains the birth details you chose to share, encoded inside the link itself. Anyone holding the link can view that kundli — share links the way you would share the kundli itself.

You can edit or reset your profile anytime (More → Reset), which removes it from your device. If you use an account, you may permanently delete it and all cloud data at any time from the Account page, or see how to delete your account. You can use most of TaraDarpan without any account at all.

TaraDarpan is intended for users 18 and above, or minors with parental consent. Parents may enter a child's birth details for family readings (e.g., naamkaran) under their own responsibility.
